The alluvial fan deposited by the Calabacillas Arroyo is an access point
to the Bosque provided by the City of Albuquerque Open Space Division (and is co-managed by the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District and the
Albuquerque Metropolitan Area Flood Control Authority). The site bears great
potential for watershed education and recreation as well as potential constructed wetlands.

Directions: Entry is located east of Coors
Road on Westside Drive, 1/10th mile north of Paseo del Norte. Go east
to the dirt levee road to the dirt parking lot designated by Open Space
signs.
