This SHPO registered site contains literally millions of jewels
in the form of pieces of colored glass from before the Second World War.
Pole plantings in the area have done exceptionally well, and there is the
enormous potential for interpretation of uses (perhaps not always constructive)
of the bosque and the river and its connection to upland communities over time.

Directions: Take Second Street south to Rossmoor Road; go west on Rossmoor Road to Poco Loco Drive from which the Riverside Trail can be accessed.
