The site of a 33-acre fire in April 2002, this site has been
cleared and restored under the direction of the Open Space Division. The rapidity
of the regrowth of Tamarisk and Russian Olive illustrates how these exotics have
achieved their dominant status in the bosque.
Directions: Soon to be accessed via the new entrance to the Open Space Visitor's Center off Bosque Meadows Road.
