Virtual Bosque  
Paseo - Alameda Bosque Forest Area
 



This mature forest of native Cottonwoods and New Mexico Olive trees represents one of the plant communities that will be reproduced in the Bosque restoration.
• Reference site for native plant community
• Reference site for area not overrun by exotic plant species
• Research site for intact woodland

Directions: Access from the Paseo del Norte Open Space parking lot (at Paseo del Norte off of Rio Grande Blvd). From the Open Space parking lot, head west to the Paseo del Bosque Trail, once on the trail, head south and enter the bosque heading southwest on the well-worn path to about midway between the levee and the river.
