The opportunities for restoration within this project area are numerous. The upcoming feasibility study will address these opportunities.

Suggestions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Removal of old Jetty Jacks
• Removal of non-native plant species
• Planting of native plant species
• Reduction of "Fire Fuel Loads"
• Enhanced access connection points for safety and maintainability
• Identify potential wetland or side channel opportunities
• Identify new "Observation Point" locations at riverbank and levee areas
• Enhanced trail system for hiking/biking and other passive recreational uses
